Then the homeless people would have to come up with their tray that was given to them when they first came to the kitchen. When they came back for seconds there was a head count to how much food was left. The supervisor went to go ask if the children wanted seconds, the children had said no.
The feelings and thoughts I had about fulfilling the assignment was at first I was scared. The homeless people would never have an eye contact with me. I have had experience with the homeless people acting up. The supervisor Tesha actually prepared me that they would show off when they do not get him or her way on getting extra food.
What I learned about myself was that I am blessed to have a family, and a job that I can go to three days a week. You always think that your situation may be bad but it is someone else situation can be worst.
